Waarnmakersweek brings six days of creativity, culture and hands-on experiences to Dunstone Estate in Wellington from 8 to 13 September. Set in the Bovlei Valley, the programme combines art, food, music and practical workshops, with activities ranging from leatherworking, photography and stitchwork to macramΓ©, yoga, drumming and kimono patternmaking.
The programme also includes poetry, theatre, a children’s book exhibition, nature walks and an AI workshop. One of the highlights is Thursday’s Gala Evening and A.R.T Gallery opening, combining wine, art, a book launch, live performances and a farm-style dinner. There are free events as well as ticketed workshops and experiences, with prices varying by activity.
