Mother City Core brings a full day of alternative music to Trenchtown in Observatory on Saturday, 19 September, with four Cape Town bands taking over the main stage. Atlantic South, Moondaygun, Dreadlines and The Dominion headline a day built around metalcore, hardcore and alternative sounds, with live music starting on the main stage from 20:00. The event also features a pop-up market, karaoke, DJs in the garden and a range of food and drinks specials throughout the day. Early birds can get in from R80, with later ticket phases priced at R100 and R120 and door tickets at R150. The venue is also offering free access to the garden and restaurant for karaoke, while selected food and drink specials run throughout the event. Mother City Core is strictly 18+.
