The SBK Collab – Colour Spring Splash brings salsa, bachata and kizomba to ColorBox Studios in Paarden Eiland on Friday, 11 September. The spring-themed dance night is designed for both experienced dancers and complete beginners, with free introductory classes running from 19:30 before the main party gets underway. Once the dance floor opens, Cape Town’s SBK community will take over with DJs playing salsa, bachata and kizomba until 02:00. The event also includes line dances, taxi dancers, community activities, food vendors, dancewear stalls and a courtyard area. No partner or previous experience is required, making this a particularly accessible night for anyone wanting to try Latin social dancing. Early-bird tickets start at R100, with general admission priced at R120.
