The Off The Scale Choir is putting on a full musical this time, running at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg from Friday, 31 July to Sunday, 2 August. It’s built around a mash-up of Broadway and West End numbers, strung together into a story about chasing dreams and finally getting up the nerve to step into the spotlight. Expect strong voices, a fair amount of comedy, and at least one or two songs that’ll stick with you on the drive home.
It works whether you’re a proper musical theatre fan or just want a decent night out with friends or family. Even Cody the Penguin’s been rehearsing his standing ovation for this one.
