If you like your beer strong, Triggerfish Brewing’s Winterfest is worth the drive out to Somerset West on Saturday, 25 July. The whole point of this one is extreme beer – we’re talking 9% ABV and up, with more than 15 on offer alongside spirits, cider and wine from names like Soul Barrel, Honingklip, Long Beach, Flagstone and Loxtonia. Your ticket gets you a 2026 commemorative tasting glass and entry to the after-party, and there’s live music, food and face painting for the kids running alongside the tastings. Tasting tokens are sold separately, either online at a discount or on the day.
